What: SWK030 creative housing is a non-profit organization with the aim of offering professional artists, creative entrepreneurs, art institutions and cultural organizations affordable workspace in the municipality of Utrecht. They house their tenants in buildings owned by the foundation, as well as locations rented from the municipality, housing corporations, property owners, educational institutions and private individuals. For many years, SWK030 has been developing, managing and renting out cultural real estate, often in close collaboration with the municipality of Utrecht. This has led to a significant increase in the number of square meters of permanent cultural workspace in the city.
100%Zomer and SWK030 also explored opportunities for cooperation in the 100%YourCityHotel (see portfolio). Since 2017 we cooperate in our effort to create more permanent space for artist and designers in the city. 100%Zomer places the emphasis on the position of the new generation of social and ecological-circular artists and designers.
